Wednesday Night League
Two-man teams, one ball, nine holes — a net scramble every Wednesday evening all summer long.
About the league
The flagship of league night at Paupack Hills. Grab a partner and play a nine-hole two-man scramble on a summer evening — every week counts, and the season ends with a double-points championship night.
Every Wednesday through mid-October, two-man teams shotgun off at 4:30 for a nine-hole scramble — both partners hit, you play the better ball, and the team posts one score. Front nine one week, back the next.
A rolling team handicap keeps the field honest: your number builds from your own scramble rounds and updates every week, so every team has a real shot at the night’s points. Finish high, stack points, and bring it all to the double-points championship night on October 14.
The league fee covers the prize pool, and it's waived for everyone this season for our late-season start. Each week runs $37 and includes your nine, a cart, and a hot dog, chips, and a drink after the round.
Format & rules
Two-person teams
Bring a partner or let us pair you. Subs are always welcome.
9-hole scramble
Alternating nines each week, 4:30 shotgun (4:00 from mid-September). Both partners hit, play the best ball, post one team score.
Rolling team handicap
Your team’s handicap is the average of its last five scramble rounds (fewer while you’re getting started), updated every week. No GHIN required.
Points every week
Your net score earns points against the whole field each week. Every week counts, and championship night on October 14 pays double.
Each week is a net scramble — your rolling team handicap builds from your own rounds, and the field is ranked by net team score. Points run 20 for a win down through the field (minimum 5), every week counts, and championship night pays double.
Rolling team handicap from your team’s last five scramble rounds (fewer while you’re getting started), updated weekly. No GHIN required.

Prizes & payouts
Every payout is pro-shop credit or in-kind — never cash from the house. Here's what this league plays for.
Questions
No. Your team’s handicap builds from its own scramble scores over the first few weeks — nothing to declare, no GHIN required. Until it’s established, your team simply plays at gross.
